Deepti Prasanna is an enthusiastic second-generation entrepreneur with diverse interests spanning culture, business, and traditional fashion. Raised in Singapore and later relocating to India, she earned her MBA in Finance before beginning her professional journey in the financial sector. After working in corporate finance until 2011, she transitioned into the family business.

In 2014, Deepti joined Athreya Retail Private Limited, where she currently serves as Director and Chief Executive Officer, driving the company’s expansion in the retail segment. In 2016, she was selected for the prestigious 10,000 Women Entrepreneurs Program conducted by ISB Hyderabad and sponsored by Goldman Sachs. She emerged from the program with the ‘Best Business Plan’ award for her visionary strategy for Athreya Retail.

One of her key innovations includes the launch of an exclusive bridal lounge, offering personalized designer services tailored specifically to the blouse needs of new brides, enhancing the customer experience in the ethnic fashion space.

Beyond her business pursuits, Deepti is a multifaceted individual. A trained Bharatanatyam dancer with over two decades of experience, she has performed extensively in both solo and group formats. She is also an avid trekker, having completed several challenging high-altitude treks, including the Mt. Everest Base Camp, and embraces adventure as a way of life.

A dedicated fitness enthusiast, Deepti maintains a disciplined routine of yoga and exercise, which fuels her high energy and productivity. Deeply passionate about personal growth and giving back, she is currently training to become a teacher with The Art of Living, under the guidance of her revered guru, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
